Fun Fall Weekend- Part 3

Happy 18th Birthday Uncle Tuck!!!!
Today we are celebrating Tuckers 18th birthday with him. For those of you reading this that have known me for some time, it is AMAZING that Tucker is 18. Yes we really are getting that old. I am super excited for him and all that the future has to hold! He is a pretty cool guy and has lots going for him. Even if he is related to this gang below!! We love ya Uncle Tuck!

Here was Tuck blowing out his candles! I can only guess what his wish might have been for?? Check out below and you may have the same guess as me!
CODE BLUE!!!
A Tita*ns victory on Monday night!!

Fun Fall Weekend- Part 2

The weekend fun continued on Saturday afternoon when we headed out to the land to have a Pumpkin Carving Contest and Fall Party. Miss Livi B. was the hostess and it was a wonderful event. I am sure her mom will post more pics as well so be sure to check her blog out! Not only did we carve pumpkins, but there was a serious apple bobbing contest. Here is Nate just coming up out of the water with his apple!

That is Uncle Rich diving in for his apple. He did not grow up bobbing for apples so he was given several instructions from the Stokes Hill Gang!
Congrats to Braxton on his apple bobbing win!

I laughed and told Grandma that I always seem to get a pic of her feeding one of my babies at this event each year! We laughed and decided maybe I just have too many babies!! Colby sure loves his Grandma though!

Here is Nate poking holes in his pumpkin. I would say he punched around 300 in that thing?!? It was great when the sun when down and his pumpkin looked like the night sky full of stars??!! He felt that he was once again robbed of the victory, but I am sure the judges were fair and impartial. Congrats to the parents of Miss Gracey G. for their win, with the entry of the pilgrims and turkey. It was great!! Thanks to Livi and her parents for a wonderful party!

Fun Fall Weekend- Part 1

Friday night football started this fun filled weekend off right! The Patriots celebrated Homecoming with a big victory over Spring Hill. Uncle Taylor had several touchdowns and we love watching he and Uncle Tuck play. We will miss this lots next fall! Here is a great picture of Cy and Poppi at the beginning of the game. They are big buddies and Cy is always ready to give out a good "Vote Poppi" to anyone around.

Here are my boys after the game with Pepe and Uncle Tuck. Cy loves to go out on the field after the game and high five his peeps!

All the Lankford boys LOVE to cheer on T-dawg! Rich, Nate, Colby, Cy, Pop, Braxton, Gavin and Uncle Joe are Taylors biggest fans. They are so proud to be Lankfords on Friday nights!
>
And here is Cy with his special cheerleader "Wanie", her name is Lanie and we have a MAJOR crush! Seriously, we are 2!!!! He melts when she comes around, which is often since she is Uncle Taylors girlfriend.

As if the night were not fun enough with football, then we all got to go over to Nonni's for a special Halloween treat. Everyone got to pick a bear and a sucker. Cy was most concerned with the candy and poor Colby was sacked out in the car! Thanks for our treat Nonni!!

Fav Fotos Friday- Spooky Friends

Thanks Will and Caroline for hosting a great spooky party! We loved dressing up and can't wait to see our friends over the next week at all of the Fall activities!
Cy is supposed to be a happy cowboy and Colby is supposed to be a "Hair wolf" but his hair would not cooperate! We still have a week to work on it! Oh and Cy was definitely afraid of his 8 month old cousin Livi the lion! Yikes what am I going to do when we see a "real" spook?

Another great visit to that "Florida House"

We packed the car last Wednesday afternoon and headed to "that Florida house!" Nate and I took our crew along with Court and her gang and some Dr. friends and spent 5 nights at the beach. It was sooo relaxing and even though we had 8 kids to 6 adults it was pretty calm. The boys had a blast and Colby enjoyed every minute of sand eating. Cy was in heaven playing with the big boys and his Dad! We decided to stay an extra day and it was well worth it, Court and I had not finished our outlet mall shopping. I took lots of pics, but here are some of my favorites. Cy was usually being "big" so I do not have as many of him this time, but I snapped a few!
Enjoy!

Just taking a minute to look at that "wocean" that God made!
No they are not posing nicely, but I like that it shows the reality of 6 boys!
Sweet Brotherly Love
The fam, with Colby's eyes closed, of course!
What a stinker! He loved to watch the waves!
The most precious little toes I know.
Thank you "wocean" for a great time!

Class of '98- BGA style

This weekend was the 10 year reunion for Nate's class at BGA. It was held at Jackson and Anna Moran's house and it was great. Nate and his "football goonies" had a blast!!!! I did not go to BGA, but was friends with lots of people there so I had fun catching up with some old faces as well. Here is a pic of all of the classmates that attended, and the turn out was really good for their group.

Here were the "star" football guys that were in attendance from the 1998 state championship team! They were pumped about getting this picture made and checking out how tough they look!
Thankfully we are never far from our friends the Pilkintons, since Jesse and Nate graduated together. I was glad to have Amanda at the event as well. We had so much fun and sweet Beth G. was there, but somehow I managed not to get a pic with her. Oh well, maybe someone else has one to share.
Oh and take note of Nate's outfit. It is actually a little more in this decade, than the one he graduated in! I thought he looked great, while he couldn't decide if he looked "gothic??" or like a "lumberjack." It is never a dull moment with #31!!

My little "Punkins"!

On Thursday night we headed over to the Gentry Farm to have a little fun at the Pumpkin Patch with the kiddos from Cy's school. The weather was great and our little "punkins" had a blast! We met up with the Pilkintons and had fun riding the hay ride and playing on the pumpkins with Will and Caroline. Caroline looked adorable in her pumpkin pj's and we are so glad to have her around! Will and Cy both were on the hunt to find their teachers. Will was the first to spot his, but Cy finally found Mrs. Karen just as we were leaving. He was so excited, strange for him, but I am glad. It is super hard to get 4 people to pose in a half way normal looking picture, so the pic in front of the barn is our best shot! Enjoy the pictures and we are headed to Nate's 10 year reunion so I hope to have more pics to post soon!
My blue eyed buddy! He is really starting to get a little personality and he loved seeing all the kids at the farm!

These two are double trouble...they may look innocent now, but I know my day is coming with Cy and Will and their tricks!!!

The best family pic we have from the afternoon!

My littlest Punkin!! He was in heaven playing in the pumkin boxes.

Finally we found her, Mrs. Karen! We did miss Mrs. Robin, but were pleased with one of the two!

Campaigning, playing and lovin!

We had a great week around here last week! We did lots of stuff for Poppi's campaign starting the week out with a fundraiser at Tap Root. Here are Uncle Tuck and Colby at the fundraiser. We have to take advantage of these days with Tuck since he will be off to school next year!

A rare pic of Colby and Mom on the swing at the very fun Tap Root Farm.

Cy actually had a photo shoot with Pop and Nonni at this fundraiser and once I get some pics I will post them!
Here we were playing at Tinkerbell Park, I never thought the day would come when Cy could play there without my help. Now I cannot believe it has finally come!!

As far as love goes last week, we had a huge week in Cy's life. For the first time EVER, Cy lovedd(okay maybe tolerated) being dropped off at school last week. He did not cry and actually gave me a kiss goodbye. And he gave his sweet teacher a kiss as he entered the classroom. Wow is all that I can say.
Oh and mom actually got a little lovin on Friday!
Thanks Nate!
